photograph

Tuesday 10th July 2018
Maybe you are a total beginner or have a good grasp of how to use your camera, but this talk will give you a few extra ideas about how to make the most of those photo opportunities.

Whether it's to get better holiday snaps, photographing your pet or family, or perhaps taking some shots of your local wildlife and landscape there are plenty of ways to improve your images.

You'll be given a better idea of how to compose a shot, make better use of light conditions and have a better understanding of what the different camera settings mean and how they effect your images.

Nothing complicated, just simple plain English tips and guidance from a well respected professional photographer, illustrated with images to show how the different settings effect a photograph.

The talk is to be held at Wooten Wawen Village Hall, Alcester Rd, Wootton Wawen, Henley-in-Arden. B95 6AY. On behalf of Wootten Wawen WI.

Talk starts at 7.30pm

Friday 19th October 2017

Hummingbirds have always fascinated me and my dream to one day photograph them finally came true in November 2013 and since on further visits leading trips for birders and photographers alike.

This lecture gives you not only some lovely images of these little jewels, but some fascinating facts about some of the smallest birds in the world.

Included are many quality images, from Honeycreepers at the famous Asa Wright Centre in Trinidad, to the majestic Tropic Birds of Little Tobago island. If you have been thinking of visiting, this talk may just make up your mind to book your trip.
The lecture also includes film with sound of some species, so a very entertaining show.
